I am so glad I stumbled upon Eva Leigh's "Wicked Quill of London" series. I know it's silly, but I love cover art and it can steer me into reading the book now or placing in my TBR pile. Ms Leigh's book covers are gorgeous, in addition to the book blurbs the covers drew my attention spot on. 

Each book is so refreshing not the normally mainstream historical romance books. The series spotlights three independent, strong willed women, in the third of the series- Temptation of a Wallflower  - readers are captured immediately in a web of secrets and forbidden love. 

The characters in the previous books show up and have cameos, this book can be a stand alone, however I think the reader will benefit from reading the first two books in the series.

The storyline is of a Vicar's father who gave him an assignment of identifying the mysterious author of erotic novels. Our heroine, the daughter of a duke, comes alive when holding a quill, words flow and she creates books that many dare not to pen or read. As the story develops the two characters develop and sparks fly. Sarah is attracted to Jeremy, but as society dictates, he is beneath her station. Sarah was holding back her secret life from Jeremy, will their love stand a chance when her secret is discovered or will love prevail? I was anxious to learn if these two would say "Hell with the ton" and forge through to their own HEA. 

Intertwined in the beginning of each chapter is snippets of the character Sarah's infamous book "The Highwayman's Seduction", this reader would love to be able to read that pseudo novel, too. 😀
