NOT QUITE PERFECT
Not Quite Series, Book Five
Montlake Romance, Contemporary
September 20, 2016, First Edition
Mary Kildare knows how to read people. It’s both why she makes a great therapist and why she refuses to trust the average bachelor. Staying fiercely independent has been her primary relationship strategy—until wealthy playboy pilot (and commitmentphobe) Glen Fairchild reappears in her life. After a yearlong teasing tug-of-war, Mary and Glen test the waters of attraction, only to find that their physical chemistry runs deeper than flirtation.
At first, a bicoastal romance suits them both—especially since Glen can swoop in and whisk Mary away on one of his company’s planes. But no matter how close they get, they’re still three thousand miles apart. And when Mary’s life is threatened, Glen realizes the one luxury he doesn’t have is time. Can he close the distance between them before it’s too late?

Amazing! Yep that wraps it up in one word my feelings about this book. Once Catherine captured my attention from the first chapter and held it until the last page. The story had every emotion of mine engaged- hilarious in parts, sexual chemistry throughout, a bit of a mystery and suspense. You got to love a book keeps your attention.
I know I say this with each new book in the series, this his my favorite of the Not Quite series. :)
I loved how the relationship developed. Glen was there when Mary needed her, no question asked. We were reunited with previous characters and introduced to new ones. Mary Frances kept a smile on my face every time she was in the scene, I couldn't help but laugh out loud at some of her dialogue.
The story may have ended before I was ready to say goodbye, but luckily there is at least one more Fairchild brother still looking for love, or maybe not. Catherine Bybee has a way of changing everyone's heart and mind. Until next time Catherine, thanks again for a wonderful read.
