The seventh and final tale in the dazzling, heartwarming, and pulse-racing Weekday Brides series.
Gabriella Masini: She’s a woman haunted by her past, with the scars to prove it. She believes that fairy tales are for other people. An elite matchmaker at Alliance, she’s great at crunching numbers, but something doesn’t add up with her latest prospective client: a billionaire bad boy with his own secrets. When Gabi refuses to be his temporary wife, Hunter forces her hand with an offer she can’t refuse. But marriage to a man like that could never last…or could it?
Hunter Blackwell: Only his bank account is bigger than his ruthless ability to obtain anything he wants. These days, he has a secret reason to settle down, at least for a while—and he thinks the sensual and sassy Gabi will fit the bill perfectly. But when their marriage of convenience becomes downright dangerous, Hunter must decide how far to take his vow to honor and protect Gabi forever.

“The Weekday Brides never disappoint and this final installment is by far Bybee’s best work to date..” –RT Book Reviews, 4 ½ Stars, Top Pick!
My heart ached for Gabriella, she was taken advantage by her so called husband, who kidnapped and drugged her. Of course, she would be very hesitant to give her love and trust to another man. I wasn't sure how I felt when I learned that Hunter would be the romance for Gabi. He initially came off as arrogant. I had to trust in Catherine that she would give Gabi the storybook romance that she deserved. It seemed that Gabi's husband haunted her in his death and Hunter was convinced that Gabi had some secrets she was hiding.
They both had some skeletons they are running from, will they be able to do the one thing that has been foreign to them, can they trust another person? It may have started as an arranged marriage, but will they be able to work through all the challenges and obstacles to turn it into a forever marriage? If anyone can work her romance magic, Catherine can create a perfect Happy Ever After.
I was hoping that Gabi and Hunter would raise his nephew, they are two people who had so much love to give. Once again, Catherine didn't let her fans down. She gave her readers a sensual romance as well as a great mystery story. We saw all the characters make an appearance or a mention in the book. What a great ending to a great series. A sad goodbye to all my favorite characters.
